Set Closings Limit

The Set Closings Limit page allows a Grants.gov Administrator to limit the number of grant opportunities that can close on a given date. Limiting the number of grant opportunities that close on a given date aids in system performance by mitigating surges in site traffic and data uploads.

How to Set Closing Date Limits

  1. Click the Set Closing Date Limits link in the left navigation menu on the Grantor Center page.

  2. Enter a date in the Closing Date field. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY.

  3. Click the Submit button.

  4. Enter the maximum number of closings to allow on that date in the New Limit field.

  5. Click the Submit button. A confirmation page will appear to confirm a successful update.

  6. Click the Continue button to return to the Set Closing Limit page.
