Online Help

Online Help provides step-by-step guidance for completing tasks as an applicant or federal agency grantor in Grants.gov.

As you work in specific parts of Grants.gov, you can find task-specific instructions by clicking Online Help icons, like this: help icon

The Help link at the top right of every Grants.gov page will take you to this page.

Use the Search Site Content box in the top right of every page to search across Online Help and other sections, such as Applicant System-to-System and the Grants Learning Center 

Getting around this guide

1. Open the left navigation

Click a section (for example, “Register” or “Search Grants”) to open a list of articles.

Click on the Glossary button to open a list of technical terms used in Grants.gov 

2. Click a term or article to open it

To search for a specific term or article, use your browser’s page search function (Ctrl-F).
