Manage Version History

A funding opportunity’s version history contains links to each version of the forecast and synopsis. You can access these via tables in the Version History tab of the Manage Opportunity page:

  • Click the links in the Version column to see the full-text of a forecast or synopsis.

  • The Modification Description column contains modification comments about a specific version update.

  • The Visibility column notes whether the particular version is available to the public or grantor only. Deleted versions are accessible to the Grantor, but not to Applicants.

  • The Performed By column lists the user who updated the version. The Performed By information may be blank for older synopsis versions. Grants.gov added the collection of this data field in Release 15.1, so synopsis versions modified before February 22, 2016, will not have the Performed By information.

  • The Updated Date/Time column lists the time the version was updated.

The current component (i.e., forecast or synopsis) will be displayed below the table, with revised sections highlighted in gray.
