View Closings Calendar

When determining the closing date of your funding opportunity package, you will need to ensure that your selected date is available on the Grants.gov Closings Calendar.

On the Grantor Center page, click the View Closings Calendar link under Grantor Opportunities heading on the left side of the page. Using the month and year drop-down menus, select the appropriate period and click the Go button.

Every day of the selected month will list a total number of available closings in parentheses. The number of available closings is also coded with a color and label:

  • Green (Low) - Less than 25% of maximum closings are posted

  • Yellow (Medium) - More than 25% of maximum closings are posted

  • Orange (High) - More than 75% of maximum closings are posted

  • Red (Full) - Maximum number of closings has been reached

Informative status

Note: If you select a date for which the maximum number of closings has been reached, you will receive an error message asking you to select another closing date.
