Manage Application Package Templates

The Manage Application Package Templates link in the left navigation menu of the Grantor Center page enables you to create, edit, and delete Single-Project and Multi-Project application package templates that can be used for multiple opportunity packages.

Once a template is created, you can then add instructions specific to a particular funding opportunity and publish the application package to Grants.gov through the manage opportunities section.

Informative status

Note: Creating, modifying, and deleting application package templates have no effect on application packages already published on Grants.gov.

Actions and Buttons

The following actions and buttons may be available to Grantors on the Manage Application Package Templates page:

  • Search: Enter search criteria (e.g., Template Name or Contains Form Name), then click the Search button to find existing application package templates within those criteria available to your agency.

  • Export Results: Clicking the Export Results button generates an Excel file of the current search results.

  • Create New Template: Clicking the Create New Template button initiations the template creation process.

  • Modify: Available under the Actions column in the search results. Grantors with access to this function can change existing application package templates.

  • Copy: Available under the Actions column in the search results. Grantors with access to this function can copy an existing application package, then modify this copy to create a similar, but different template.

  • Delete: Available under the Actions column in the search results. Grantors with access to this function can delete an existing application package.
